Lessons 12 & 13: Detailed explanation with video about 12th & 13th Arabic letters Seen & Sheen

Seen & Sheen are the letters we learn about today in our today's Arabic Alphabet Lessons, Seen is the 12th alphabet in the Arabic Language, Sheen is the 13th. We classify the  the Seen & Sheen as a group as we did with the Daal & Thaal and Raa'a & Zain.

Both letters have the same look of writing, but the difference in the dots location as usual, Seen س, Sheen ش.
Also both letters have 3 main formations as all Arabic Letters.

Seen:
Seen is written as س, with the 3 formations.
  • Seen with the Fatha, is pronounced as Saa, written as سَ.
  • Seen with the Kasraa, is pronounced as See, written as سِ.
  • Seen with the Damma, is pronounced as Soo, and finaly written as سُ.

Sheen:
Sheen is written exactly as the Seen, but just add 3 dots just like that ش.
Now let us learn how to pronounce the Sheen with the 3 different formations.
  • Sheen is pronounced as Shaa when we add to it the Fatha.
  • Sheen is pronounced as Shee when we add to it the kasra.
  • Sheen is pronounced as Shoo when we addd to it the Damma.
