Lessons 16 & 17: Detailed explanation with video about 16th & 17th Arabic letters Taaa'a & Zaa'a

And a new lesson to Learn Arabic for today with 2 new letters which are called the Taaa'a and Zaa'a, In this lesson i really recommend watching the below video to know the exact way to pronounce both letters.

Both letters have the same look and way of writing, but as usual and as a lot of other letters the only difference is the location of the dots.

Let us start and know the 3 formations of writing and pronouncing both letters...

Taaa'a:
The letter Taaa'a is written as ط, and with the
3 formations it will be written and pronounced as follows:
  • Taaa'a with the Faths is pronounced as Taaa. Written as طَ.
  • Taaa'a with the Kasra is pronounced as Teee, Written as طِ.
  • Finally Taaa'a with the Damaa is pronounced as Tooo, written as طُ.
Now take your pen and write them down as we always do in every lesson, and again i highly recommend watching the below videos.

Zaa'a:
The letter Zaa'a is written exactelly as a the Taaa'a but with a dot, so it will look as follows ظ. Easy isn't it :) ?
Time to take a look at the Zaa'a with the 3 formations.
  • Zaa'a with the Fatha is written as ظَ and pronounced as Zaa.
  • Zaa'a with the Kasra is written as ظِ and pronounced as Zee.
  • Zaa'a with the Damma is written as ظُ and pronounced as Zoo.
And again another recommendation to watch the videos to get the exact right pronunciations.
