Lessons 18 & 19: Detailed explanation with video about 18th & 19th Arabic letters Aeen & Ghaen

2 new lessons and 2 new letters in our daily Arabic lessons, 2 letters that looks mostly the same as the only difference is the dot places on the letters.

The 2 letters for today are called (Aeen) & (Ghaeen), so let us start with the details...

The letter Aeen:

The letter Aeen is written as ع.
Now we will see the letter (Aeen) with the 3 different formations:
  • Aeen with the Fatha, is pronounced as AA. And written as عَ.
  • Aeen with the Kasra is pronounced as Ae. And written as عِ.
  • Aeen with the Damma is pronounced as Ao. And written as عُ.

The letter Ghaen:

Now we will take a look at the letter (Aeen) with
the 3 different formations:
  • Aeen with the Fatha, is pronounced as Ghaa. And written as غَ.
  • Aeen with the Kasra is pronounced as Ghee. And written as غِ.
  • Aeen with the Damma is pronounced as Ghoo. And written as غُ.
