How to ask in Arabic Do you have children?

Our new Arabic lesson for today we will learn how to ask "Do you have children" in Arabic, actually the lesson contains a lot of details but it's easy don't worry.

We will start with the word children, in this question the word "Children" refers to 3 words in Arabic.
  • Kid.
  • Babies.
  • Sons. (refers to boys and kids)
Kids, Awlad, أولاد
Babies, Atfal, أطفال
Sons, Abna'a, أبناء

Mostly used in the question "Do you have children?" is the word Atfal, so the question will be as shown below.

Hal endaka Atfal هل عندك أطفال in case you are talking to a male, The words "Hal endaka" means "Do you have".

And if you are talking to a female, your question will be
, hal endake Atfal هل عندكي اطفال.
The only difference is that when you are talking to a male you say "Endaka" and if you are talking to a female you say "Endake".

Regarding the answer, if you want to say "Yes, i have a boy" you say "Naam, endee walad" نعم عندي ولد.
Naam is the word Yes in Arabic, Endee is I have, Walad means Boy.
In case i want to say "Yes, i have a girl", you will just  replace the word "walaad" by the word "Bent".

What if you want to say "Yes, i have boys/ girls", the word Boys in Arabic is "Awlad", and the word Girls in Arabic is "Banat", so the full answer will be "Yes, I have Boys" "Naam, endee awlad" "نعم, عندي اولاد". Or "yes, I have girls" "Naam, endee banat" "نعم, عندي بنات".

Now what you have to do is 2 things, 1st watch the below video, and 2nd to practice writing the lesson on  paper, scan it or capture it using your mobile phone and upload it to our facebook page. If you have any questions, just write them down in the below comments box.
